Mr. R. Wayne Brockwell
Mr. Brockwell is employed as a Special Counsel with BrownGreer, PLC, specializing in Claims Administration. A graduate of Ferrum College and Golden Gate University School of Law, his background includes affiliation with the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center and coaching youth programs. Mr. Brockwell is a member of the Lawrenceville Baptist Church and currently attends Swift Creek Baptist Church in Midlothian. He lives in Midlothian.
Mr. Charles E. Clement
Mr. Clement is the Managing Director/Owner of Noble Manhattan North America. Formerly, he was President and CEO of Experity Services, President & CEO of Andesa Services, and Executive Vice President and General Manager of Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Company. He is a past President of the Virginia Jaycees, and currently serves as the Open Table leader and Disaster Recovery team leader at Chester United Methodist Church where he is a member. A graduate of Virginia Tech and VCU, Mr. Clement lives in Richmond with his wife, Susan. They have three children and four grandchildren.

Rev. Ronald L. Eason
Rev. Eason is the Pastor of Elkhardt Baptist Church, North Chesterfield, Virginia. He is also an Adjunct Chaplain at a local hospital.
Rev. Eason is a 1971 graduate of the University of Richmond, and a 1976 graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He lives in Richmond, VA with his wife, Debbie. They have two children and four grandchildren.

Mr. Flora is the President and Chairman of the Board of Flora Funeral Service, Inc., and a board member of the Independent Funeral Homes of Virginia. He is past member of the Patrick Henry Community College Advisory Board and Roger Roller Evangelistic Association, and past President of the Blue Ridge Funeral Directors Association. He is involved with the Boones Mill Lions Club and The Gideons International.
A member and Worship Choir member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Mr. Flora lives in Rocky Mount with his wife, Becky.
Mrs. Helen F. Foster
Virginia Beach, VA
Mrs. Foster brings a lifelong passion for volunteering and ministry to the Board. She is an active member of Kings Grant Baptist Church, where she has served on the Senior Citizens Committee, Kings Companions, Women’s Ministry, and as a Deacon.
Originally from DeLand, Florida, Mrs. Foster now lives in Virginia Beach with her husband, J. Darrell Foster. She is the mother of 3 children, and a grandmother to 8.
Mr. John M. Garnett, III
Mr. Garnett is the recently retired President of Garnett Refrigeration in Spotsylvania. A graduate of Richmond College/University of Richmond with a BA in Economics, he also served on the Spotsylvania County School Board for 16 years. Mr. Garnett is a lifelong member of Fredericksburg Baptist Church where his service includes that of Usher and Deacon. He lives in Spotsylvania with his wife Elizabeth. They have two children.
Ms. Ann M. Green
Ms. Green is an Attorney with Anderson, Desimone & Green, P.C. focusing on elder law and estate planning, guardianship, estate and trust administration, and Medicaid and Special Needs Planning. She received her BA in Economics and JD in Law from the University of Virginia. Ms. Green served on the Board of Good Samaritan Hospice from 2003-2008 and is a member of the Bonsack Baptist Church where she has held positions of Coordinator of Special Needs Ministry, Youth/Special Needs Teacher, and Kindergarten Teacher. She and her husband, Barry, live in Roanoke. They have two children.

Ms. Edith M. Kennedy
Ms. Kennedy has worked at a number of colleges in Northern Virginia. She holds Master’s and Doctorate degrees from George Mason University, and a Graduate Certificate in Biblical Studies from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Ms. Kennedy has held the office of VP Dressage with the Commonwealth Dressage Combined Training Association, has been a supporter of HopeTree Family Services for many years, and is a member of Haymarket Baptist Church where she has served on the Mission Committee (past Chair), Christmas Committee, and Personnel Committee. She has authored several plays and the narrative for a Live Nativity that have been performed at Haymarket Baptist Church. She lives in Gainesville, VA.
Mr. L. Richard Martin, Jr.
Bon Air, Virginia
Mr. Martin is the retired Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs for the Virginia Department of Social Services. Prior to his career in social services, he worked as a broadcast journalist in the Roanoke and Lynchburg markets. He received his degree in economics from Lynchburg College in 1970.
Mr. Martin holds a number of leadership roles and is a Deacon at Huguenot Road Baptist Church. With his wife, Beverly, he resides in the Bon Air area of Chesterfield County. He has two sons, a stepson, a stepdaughter and five grandchildren.
Mr. John G. Mizell, Jr.
Mr. Mizell is a partner and attorney with Spinella, Owings & Shaia P.C. He is a past President of the Henrico County Bar Association, and past Chair of the Senior Lawyers Conference of the Virginia State Bar. Mr. Mizell is an active member of Grace Baptist Church, where he is a Deacon, Sunday School teacher and a member of the choir.
A graduate of the University of Richmond (B.A., 1970, J.D. 1976) and George Washington University (M.A., 1972), Mr. Mizell lives in Richmond with his wife Anna Marie. They have two sons and one grandson.
Ms. Ellen Mustoe
Ms. Mustoe is a retired Senior Probation and Parole Officer with the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice, serving in Rappahannock and Fauquier counties. She was also a social worker in Rappahannock County. Ms. Mustoe also serves as Volunteer Lay Chaplain through the Kairos Prison Ministry at the Virginia Correctional Center for Women.
A 1969 graduate of Madison College (now James Madison University) with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Ms. Mustoe currently resides in Washington, VA where she is a deacon at Washington Baptist Church.
Ms. Mia Pumo
Ms. Pumo is an Educational Consultant and President of Constructive Learning Design. She holds a BA in Radio, TV, and Film from UNC Chapel Hill, a Master of Education from UNC Greensboro, and a Master’s in School Administration from High Point University. A significant part of her education experience has involved work with at-risk students. She is a member of The Summit Church in Kernersville, NC, where she has been a preschool leader and a member of the Praise and Worship Band. She and her husband, Matt Pumo, station manager for WDBJ7, recently moved to Roanoke from North Carolina. They have four children.
Mr. Glenn P. Reynolds
Mr. Reynolds is the President of Reynolds Architects Incorporated, and past President of the Virginia Tech Hokie Club. A member of West Main Baptist Church in Danville, Mr. Reynolds is also on the Boards of the Virginia Tech Foundation, Virginia Tech Alumni Board, National Bankshares, and Blacksburg Partnership.
A graduate of Virginia Tech, he lives in Blacksburg with his wife, Dixie.
Mr. Patrick N. Shaffner
Mr. Shaffner is the former CEO of Sherertz Franklin Crawford Shaffner Inc. (now SFCS) and a retired professional engineer. He has been active on numerous boards throughout his career, including the American Heart Association, United Way of Roanoke Valley, Downtown Roanoke Incorporated, and the Roanoke chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
A 1961 graduate of Virginia Tech (B.S., Civil Engineering), Mr. Shaffner lives in Salem with his wife, Patricia. They have three grown children.
Mr. Thomas M. Stover
Mr. Stover is a founding Partner of RE/MAX Valley Realtors. He received his BS in Business from Mars Hill College and his community involvement includes former Board of Directors-Junior Achievement, Member Salem Rotary, and member and former Board of Directors for the Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors as well former Chairman and member of the Professional Standards Committee.
A member of the Grandin Court Baptist Church, Mr. Stover has held positions of Chairman of Deacon, usher, and co-Sunday School Teacher. Mr. Stover lives in Salem with his wife, Ellen. They have two married children and three grandsons.
Mr. Paul D. Taylor
Mr. Taylor is the owner of Paul Taylor Insurance Agency, LLC, and a United States Air Force veteran. He is a member of First Baptist Church, Roanoke, where he is a member of the choir and an inactive deacon. Mr. Taylor a member of the Southwest Virginia Association of Health Underwriters, and a former President of the Salem Lions Club.
A graduate of Virginia Tech and the University of Utah, he lives in Salem with his wife Sybil. They have two children and five grandchildren.
Mr. Richard W. Wright
Mr. Wright is semi-retired. He attended the University of Richmond, Dartmouth, and the American College, earning his Chartered Life Underwriter designation. He also received an honorary Doctor of Law degree from Averett University. His community involvement includes Past Chamber President, US Olympic Committee State Chair; the United Way, the Averett University Board of Trustees, and Board Member of the Virginia Colleges Fund. Mr. Wright is a member of Derbyshire Baptist Church where his service includes that of Deacon, Personnel Committee, and Finances Chair. He lives in Richmond with his wife, Jean. They have three children.
Rev. Paige A. Young
Rev. Young retired as Pastor of Ferry Farm Baptist Church in Fredericksburg, VA after 44 years, where he retains his membership. He is a past member and Chairman of the Stafford County School Board, a member of the Judge Selection Committee for Law Services in Virginia, and a member of the Salem Education Association Hall of Fame. He was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa in 1990.
A graduate of the University of Richmond and Southeastern Baptist Seminary, he lives in Fredericksburg with his wife, Sylvia. They have two children and two grandchildren.
