Alma Hunt Home

The Alma Hunt Home was the first building to be constructed on the Salem campus specifically for the Developmental Disabilities Ministry. The home was named in honor of Miss Alma Hunt, who served as Executive Secretary of the Woman’s Missionary Union from 1948 to 1974, and participated in the groundbreaking ceremony on August 13, 1995. The Alma Hunt Home houses female DDM residents and it’s floor plan has served as the basis for all other DDM Homes HopeTree has built since 1996.
