Pulliam will guide strategic growth initiatives that support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Virginia
RICHMOND, VA (August 10, 2026) – HopeTree Family Services is pleased to announce the appointment of George “GL” Pulliam as Chief Operations Officer (COO) for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Services.
Pulliam joins HopeTree following more than two decades of leadership experience in behavioral health and developmental disability services. Most recently, he served as Chief Business Development Officer at Dominion Care, where he played a key role in organizational growth and service expansion. Throughout his career, he has focused on the growth and development of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs, while serving as a strong advocate for the behavioral health industry and the individuals it supports.
In his new role, Pulliam will provide executive leadership for HopeTree’s Developmental Disabilities Ministry (DDM) programs across Virginia. He will be based in the organization’s Richmond office and will help guide strategic growth initiatives, including evaluating opportunities to expand ABA services and advocating for policies that strengthen services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
