HopeTree Family Services provides respite supports to families who require hourly or short-term overnight support. Our respite supports are available within multiple Group Home locations across Virginia. Individuals receiving respite services becomes a welcomed visitor in an established and licensed group home and participates in the planned activities in the home or in the community.

Our Respite program provides an opportunity for socialization opportunities and can be as short as several hours or include overnight stays. Funding for Respite services is provided through the Virginia Home and Community Based Waiver system and respite hours are limited to 480 hours per calendar year. HopeTree must submit an application to provide these services for each individual supported so planning is required to coordinate these supports. We have a team of professionals who can guide each family desiring these services through this sometimes complicated process.
